Claim procedures generally require client or excess reporting at various thresholds. Resource constraints frequently make monitoring of large numbers of cases impractical. The reporting threshold tends to increase to an unacceptable level, or the cases don't get the attention they deserve.

Unless properly managed and coordinated, these specialists can impede overall case progress, and drive allocated expense out of control.
